Deep Breathing Exercises –

Inhale. Exhale. Repeat:

Deep breathing, or diaphragmatic breathing, is an effective way to decrease stress. DID YOU KNOW? Breathing deeply sends a message to your brain to relax, prompting your brain to send a signal to your body. When you find yourself getting stressed, take a moment to practice some diaphragmatic breathing. Sit comfortably. INHALE through your nose for a count of 5, hold for a count of 3, then EXHALE through your mouth for a count of 5. REPEAT until you feel less stressed.
